The Salted King

Late last night, as the kids and I were driving home from the airport after spending a few days in Houston, we were listening to a Kids Worship CD. Katie was the only one that managed to stay awake and I think the reason is that she seemed to be listening quite intently to the words of the music. She asked many questions about what she was hearing. wanting to understand words such as exalted, majesty and glory-which are not easy words to explain to a three year old. Today when we got in the van the same CD was still playing and Katie asks me, "Why did the king get salted, Mommy?" Apparently my definitions weren't so great...
